- Transfer must go directly from the IRA custodian to Wounded Warriors (not through you)

- Annual cap $111,000 per individual (2026); applied to AGI exclusion
How to set this up
Contact your IRA custodian and request a Qualified Charitable Distribution form. Provide the information below. The custodian writes a check directly to Wounded Warriors and reports the transfer correctly on your 1099-R (use Code 7 with the amount in Box 2a as $0 — taxable amount is zero).
